Not sure how it happened but I only just noticed my last attempt to edit my journal posted a blank entry. Just one of those things to make one's day interesting I guess...


The mid-year blahs

Yes, I've got them. Kinda of in a funk marked with blocks on many fronts. I think I need to do something different for a bit till the drive comes back for me. Hopefully soon though. My game still needs a lot of work for my mind to crap out now.


Anime Mayhem Knowledge Base Overhaul

Anime Mayhem's Knowledge Base has undergone an extensive reworking to use a semantic network rather than the limited parent-child structure I had in use that only allowed one kind of relationship to be expressed in the stored facts. The semantic network allows any kind of relationship to be expressed for any two concepts so is a much more suitable structuring for the knowledge base. I'm also working on an interface to allow any of the game's developers to add to the game's knowledge base via their web browser.

The graph is an SVG so make sure your web browser can show SVG otherwise you get all the relationships explained to you text-only. :omfg:


MIDI Song WIP

This is a MIDI song WIP I'm working on. Hopefully you have a good sound card or MIDI playback osftware. There always Timidity++ if you don't.


DA Layout Beta

Cool new DA layout pages are available to beta testers. You have to find the "New Layout" topic in the beta testing feedback forum and click the button. This incredibly non-obvious way of enabling the feautre is a pain. It should be in the settings part of the page ideally in a new section under the Beta Testing enable section of the Beta Testing tab.


Lumeria WIP

I'm working on colouring *kumagoroPOWER's lumeria pic as I finally have my Graphire tablet working in GIMP on Ubuntu Linux (Hardy).

Note: This preview image is a moving target so it may be updated periodically as I work more on it since it updates semi-automatically.

EDIT: The flat shading is done so next is to do shading if, that is, I can ever decide on a dress colour that I like...
